  • This research was aimed to know the effect of problem based learning model on student’s learning outcomes on organizms classification concept. Dimensions were measured include (cognitive), (affective) and (psychomotor). The method used was quasy-experimental design with randomized control group pretestposttest. The population research were all students in class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Sindangjaya on academic year of 2013/2014 with sample were class VII as class experiment and class VII 8 as control class which taken by sample random sampling. The result of students cognitive learning measured to use objective test. Affective learning outcomes were measured use a questionnaire. The result psychomotor measured use observation sheet. Analysis of the result of hypothesis testing using t-test at significance level α = 0,05. The result showed that the cognitive abilities was 78,38 with good category. Affective abilities was 76,53 with high categories and psychomotor abilities was 82,38 with high category. It can be concluded that there was influence of the use problem based learning model on the concept classification life the human at SMP Negeri 1 Sindangjaya.
