- The purpose of this study is to find out 1). The implementation of parents democratic parenting in Mathlabul Falah Pre-School, 2). Social development of 4-5 years old children in Mathlabul Falah Pre-School. This study was conducted from April to May 2015. The research was located in Mathlabul Falah Pre-School of Ciwandan Cilegon. Subjects in this study were 4-5 years old children, the number of the subject is 10 children. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The technique of collecting data was conducted through observation, field notes, interview and documentation. Data reduction, data presentation and persistence of research, triangulation and checking are uses as data analysis. Based on data analysis, it can be stated that the implementation of democratic parenting by the parents is quite good. It can be observed from the cooperative interaction between parent and children, the child is recognized as a person, there is guidance and direction from parents and there isn't any rigid control from parents. It can also be stated that the social development of 4-5 years old children in Falah Mathlabul PreSchool is developed very well. This can be observed when children play with their friends, they help each other and really cooperative when doing their activities. Note: democratis parenting, social development
