  • The development of a territory caused many the occurrence of a change of to land , land originally filled with the green plants changed into a dense area , the street , and high rate buildings , the green plants as absorption water into the soil change become a house , the street , kind of concrete , asphalt , etc. The things caused reduced the quantity of water percolate into soil , so that it can caused the flood. The cities like Tangerang Regency, and Serang Regency from year to year become a population development and the development is very fast, the cities need of green open space, that the green open space is enough for hidrologis sustainability conservation, the exile water management by providing the pond retention, detention, etc. The research is analysis a curve intensity duration frequency (IDF) in determining pond retention design and detention design in big cities like Tangerang Regency with review DAS Cidurian having catchment area 815 km 2 , and Serang Regency with review DAS Ciujung having catchment area 1361 km 2 , use precipitation data of 10 years. Based on the calculation on discharge plans to a curve intensity duration frequency in the design pond retention, accounting for design period 10 years the volume of the DAS Cidurian plan retention ponds is 34.680.000 m 3 , DAS Ciujung to the volume of the plan retention ponds is 54.442.800 m 3 . accounting for design volume of the DAS Cidurian plan detention ponds is 8.820.000 m 3 , DAS Ciujung to the volume of the plan detention ponds is 14.580.000 m 3 . The volume of resulting able and safe to design retention pondso us design period of 10 years produced able and safe to design the pond retention, in both Tangerang Regency and Serang Regency.
