- This research was done to analyze the rate of fiscal decentralization in Serang Regency period 2012. This research used primary and secondary data analysis. Analysis method which was used in this research was quantitative method. Theories which were applied for the research were fiscal decentralization theory and revenue analysis. The result of this research showed the rate of fiscal desentralisation that Proportion of Local Revenues (PAD) upon the Total of Local Revenues that 17,05% were very less category, Proportion of Grant (DAU&DAK) upon Total of Local Revenues that 64,3% were very high category. PAD effectiveness ratio that 108,6% were very effective category, PAD efficiency ratio that 91% were inefficient category. Local Tax Revenues effectiveness ratio that 110% were effective category. Local Tax Revenues efficiency ratio that 90% were inefficient category. Debt ratio upon the total of local revenues that 0,23% were quite capable category. According to the above analysis it came into a conclusion that fiscal decentralization rate in Serang Regency period 2012 were low. This research result recommended the government of Serang Regency should optimalizing the local economic potentials by means to minimizing dependency on the central government. Proper make available any policy that result in increase economic local growth and make condusive climate for investors.
