  • Along with changes in the condition conservation river , change the area and population growth is make a river not function optimally as well as it should , so as to from such change is the disaster especially flood that results in many loss , in the form of fatalities or loss wealth .River Ciujung is river in banten , several segments of this river often overflow , exactly at city rangkasbitung kecamatan lebak , their muara Ciujung , river Ciujung in urban areas rangkasbitung have broad catchment area more or less 523,157 km2 .This study attempts to determine the cause of flood that is there rangkasbitung kecamatan lebak , based on capacity or capacity river , with discharge occurring .And gave the alternative solution from trouble the flood. In this research the data used was secondary data of rainfall daily for 19 years and data dimensions was latitudes Sub bassin Ciujung . The results of the ordinal rain plans with period of 100 years = 140,12 mm , rain per an hour with the methods ABM, alternative block methode, lasts six hours with duration the crest on hours to 3 = 76.43 mm while discharge plan with the HSS SCS methode obtained value discharge the top of 1266,335 m3 / s , as for by using the HSS Snyder methode obtained value discharge the top of 1591,399 m3 / s , after value discharge known , the ordinal continued uses software to know capacity river , after analyzed use the currents steady flow and the flow of unsteady flow Sub bassin Ciujung can not accommodate discharge the flow of occurring , for that reason need of maintenance river of normalization river , or alternate another so that the flow of water may be accommodated by Sub bassin Ciujung .
