- This research was aimed to know mortality rate of onion caterpillar Spodoptera exigua that has been given etomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae with different concentration. This research was held at laboratory and greenhouse of Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran in Lembang of Bandung from June until August 2014. This research use the Completely Randomized Design (CRD with 3 trial one other thing experiment was dozes of Metarhizium anisopliae, patogenecity Metarhizium anisopliae to larva Spodoptera exigua stadia and application of fungus Metarhizium anisopliae. This result indicated that Metarhizium anisoplie treatment had a real effect about mortality Spodoptera exigua caterpillar. Concentration 2,5 g/l of fungus Metarhizium anisopliae constituted the best treatment as compared to others. At stage experiment larva at 2nd stadia had the highest mortality caused infection of fungus Metarhizium anisopliae. The result of aplication method experiment showed treatment dipping of caterpillar that combine with dipping of food (leaf) give the best mortality
