  • In any construction project effectiveness and efficiency of processing time is very important, because it will relate as well as a direct impact on costs. Such costs include the cost of labor, transportation, materials, and others. Therefore research on PT. Putra Cilegon Mandiri which working on the project Fabrication & Installation Fire Fighting System Improvement at PT. Vopak. This project is a project of the pipeline automatic extinguisher mounted on the existing tank at PT. Vopak. There are 9 (nine) tank that do not have fire fighting installation automatic system. The data used is the time schedule and the total cost of the project is taken from PT. Putra Cilegon Mandiri. The method used in this study is PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) and CPM (Critical Path Method) to determine the time duration, the probability and ratio of the total project cost Fabrication & Installation Fire Fighting System Improvement at PT. Vopak is work by PT. Putra Cilegon Mandiri and first construction start on October 30, 2013. The result using the method of PERT and CPM takes 137 days and costs Rp 2.071.134.389 with a probability of 99.38%. While the processing time calculation performed by PT. Putra Cilegon Mandiri takes 150 days and costs Rp 2.467.000.000.
