- This research is aimed to find out and analyzing the implementation of cooperative learning model type numbered head together toward study result cognitive of the students in the subject social. The method used was quasiexperimental research design non equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling in this study, class V B as the experiment class make use of cooperative learning model type numbered head together and V A as the control class using expository learning. Research result obtained from test inferential toward the hypothesis. Based on data processing postes obtained from the result of the test different value penultimate class in standard significant 0,05 obtained t hitung ˃ t tabel, t hitung = 2,356 and t table = 2,00172. While, for the result of one side is the right penultimate obtained t hitung ˃ t tabel, t hitung = 2,356 dan t table = 1,67155. Then can be concluded that study result cognitive of subject social towards the students use of cooperative learning model type numbered head together is different and better than students using expository learning.
