  • This research attempts to know the difference study results learning of students on civil education subject after using inquiry learning model in class SDN Nambo Ilir of learning academic year 2015/2016. The method used was quasiexperimental research design nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling to select two classes. In this research, class V-A as the as the control class using a direct learning model and V-B as the as the experiment class make use of learning with an inquiry learning model. The data collection technique was conducted on test result of pretest and posttest learning, as well the non-test of interviews and documentation. Research result obtained from test inferential toward the hypothesis. Based on the pretest data processing obtained average value of the experimental class = 35,83 and control class = 42,5. Data analysis used two tail test at significant level of 0,05 obtained = 1,995 and = 2,01290. Based on t-test we can conclude that there not differences in the ability of the students in the experimental class with control class before getting a treatment. After learning in the experimental class and control class is completed then given posttest. Based on data processing posttest average values obtained in the experimental class = 67,29 and control class = 58,13. Data analysis used two tail test at significant level of 0,05 obtained i = 2,194 and = 2,01290. Based on the two tail test can be concluded there are significant differences between the study result of students who use inquiry learning model with the students use direct learning model.
