  • This research is motivated by low level of mathematical communication skills on one of the junior high school students in the city of Tangerang. Therefore, the need for efforts through the development of interactive design didactic media based representation. The research was conducted by the research procedures didactic design which consists of three stages: analysis of a didactical situation before learning before learning of the form didactic design hypothesis include didactic Pedagogical Anticipation (ADP), and analysis retrosfektif metapedadidactik analysis linking didactic situation analysis hypothesis with the results of the analysis metapedadidaktik. At the stage of validation trials conducted to some expert, including: mathematician and education expert. As for the implementation of interactive didactic design is done to seventh grade students in SMPN 1 Sindang Jaya. Conclusion of the overall testing that has benn done, the design of which was developed with interactive didactic-based representation approach has the potential to positively enhance students’ mathematical communication ability.
