- Potentially vegetable waste as raw material for feed, but the waste is easily damaged and rotten that needs to be done is to make silage processing. This study aimed to determine the effect of silage flour vegetable wastes to know whether vegetable waste can be used as raw material for feed or not and to determine the effect of vegetable waste silage flour on the digestibility of feed tilapia. The fish used in this study are tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) monoseks males with an average weight of 8.3±1.00 g. This study was conducted over 30 days. The process of making the feed do in BBI Baros Serang, Banten Province, while for fish breeding conducted at the Laboratory of Soil and Agro-climate Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The result showed that the addition of 5% formic acid (D) showed the best results to improve the digestibility test than the other treatments, with a dry matter digestibility of 55.66±4.15%, protein digestibility of 84.59±1.26%, fat digestibility of 84.24±2.80% and energy digestibility of 69.48±4.06%. Based on the research that has been done can be concluded that silage vegetable waste can be consumed tilapia and potential as a raw material for feed tilapia.
