- The purposes of this study are 1) to describe the use of visual media at eksplorasi fase, credible concept fase, and concept application fase in matematic learning in the eight grade student of MTs. Al-Husen Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang on the concept of lingkaran, 2) to describe the use of learning cycle methods in matematic teaching in the eight grade student of MTs. Al-Husen Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang on the concept of lingkaran, and 3) to determine the success concept aplication mathematic learning through the use of visual media and learning cycle method at eksplorasi fase, pengenalan concept fase, and concept application fase in the eight grade students MTs. Al-Husen Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang on the concept lingkaran. The research was conducted to eight grade students by number 42 children. The location of the research was in MTs. Al-Husen Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang Jl. KH. Abdul Khabier No.09 Km 24 Kabupaten Serang which has been done from March to July 2013. The research method use was a descriptive qualitative method and the research are as an instrument. Date collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. Implementation mathematic learning by using visual media is very helpful to students in understanding the subject matter at matematic teaching. The learning process becomes more attractive, effective, and efficient. Beside, the learning process by using the learning cycle method instills the basic of scientific thinking, students are learning themselves learning with her fase or step by step, and develops creativity in solving problems. By using visual media ind the learning cycle method ini mathematic teaching can help teachers and students to increase comprehension, the presenting of the material become, and easer to undertand what the content of the lessons that has been taught.
