This study objective was to determine: 1) The difference of students learning result on chemistry in learning by giving homework and giving seatwork; 2) The difference of students learning result in positive attitude and negative attitude on chemistry subject; 3) The interaction between giving homework and students attitude toward learning result; 4) The difference of students learning result between giving homework and giving seatwork to the positive attitude student; 5) The difference of students learning result between giving homework and giving seatwork to the negative attitude student.The population is the twelfth grade of science at MAN Cilegon about 120 students. The method of selecting samples was random sampling. The amount of sample was 80 students divided in 40 students as experiment class and 40 students as control class. The instrument used to measure the students attitude was Likert scale survey. The data of learning and test result in chemistry was collected. The research method used treatment by level 2x2 and hipothesis experiment and two ways ANOVA. The results are:1) There is an influence of giving homework towards students learning result in chemistry subject. This was perfomed an F v count (8,871) is higher than F table (4,15); 2) There is aninfluence of the students attitude toward students learning result in chemistry subject. This was perfomed on F count (32,79) is higher than F table (4,15); 3) there is not an interaction between giving homework and student attitude toward learning result in chemistry subject. This performed F count (1,75) is lower r than F table (4,15). The expected outcome of this research is to increase the quality of education. Giving homework increase the students learning result. But, this is not level on learning chemistry, the basic skills of the teacher and the interaction of the students to the environment, the media and source of learning included have an aimpotant role
