- It is based on research by low the skills social children aged 5-6 years because lack of variation the use of a method of learning .In addition , in the process of learning the children do not interact with friends because methods used more in individual task , therefore researchers applies the methods of play cooperative with a view to improve the ability child social .The ability great social importance owned by each people , hence the ability social needs to be improved since early age . The research is research the act of with 2 cycles, cycle I consists of eight times the act of and cycle II consisting of twice the act of with the criteria of success of the act of 71 %.The subject of this research children aged 5-6 years total of 11 children.Variable this research is the skills of child social.The data collection was done through observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. Technique data analysis be done in descriptive and quantitative. The results of this research note that the pre-action percentage of social skills of children by 34%, after the action on the first cycle the percentage of social skills of children began to increase to 54%, in the second cycle the percentage of social skills of children increases with either an advanced 76.5% and has achieved success criteria set. It can be concluded that the method of cooperative play can improve social skills in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Bona Cikulur Serang-Banten.
