- Objective of this research is to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in Science subjects matter of natural resources (water) by using mind mapping method. This research uses class action research the conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each meeting consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study using a multiple-choice test that is performed at the end of each cycle, the observation sheet, interview, and documentation. Based on the research conducted on each cycle there is an increase in activity learning students, the average student activity increased 21% of 65% the percentage of first cycle and the second cycle of 86%. In the first cycle of learning the average value of student learning outcomes is 66,67 with the percentage of completeness 69%. While the results of the test on the second cycle students' average score is 77,11 with a percentage of 89%. The test results classified by category Good for student learning outcomes have reached the expected success indicators (≥85%) and exceeds the specified value KKM. It shows that through the mind mapping method in the material natural resources (water) can increase student learning outcomes third grade government primary schools Daan Mogot 3 Tangerang
