- Bad Properties of the soil have a high plasticity, shrinkage is relatively large swelling, and low shear strength can disrupt a construction. In this research, investigated soil is soil highway Tanjung Lesung Tourism KM 4-5 Pandeglang District that suffered damage to the pavement where there occurs disappear. Based on the damage, researchers wanted to conduct research on the condition of soil with stabilizing ground using fly ash and steel slag with a percentage of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Research was done by testing water content, particle size analysis, liquid limit, plastic limit, specific gravity, compaction standards and CBR. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect added of fly ash and steel slag to the value CBR with curing 0 day, 3 day and 7 day. Based on the research, the samples are included as clay soil Inorganic mixed silt, fine sand. In this research, the largest CBR value that is optimum at 10% the percentage of fly ash to the value of CBR 43.53% with curing 7 days. As for the additive material steel slag the maximum CBR value 51.47% is given by steel slag percentage 20% and curing 7 days. The addition of fly ash increases the value of CBR for 10% fly ash but the CBR value decline in the percentage of fly ash 15% to 20%, while the addition of steel slag tends to increase from the respective percentages. Giving curing time and the percentage of fly ash and steel slag effect on increasing CBR value.
