- This study aims to investigate the effect of principal’s leadership attitude and teacher’s competence toward student’s achievement of Junior High State Schools in Bojonegara Serang. The data are collected by using questionnaires. The approach used to answer the reseach problems in this study is descriptive analysis. Furthermore, the populations are teachers, staff, and students of Junior High State Schools in Bojonegara Serang. Therefore, sixty three (63) teachers and sixty three (63) students are chosen to be the respondents of this reseach. Next, T-test is used in the process of analyzing the data. The method used is pearson product moment correlation analysis and double correlation. The result reveals that: (1) There is a significant correlation betwen principal’s leadership attitude and student’s achievement, as shown by the result of the T-test, i.e. (3,4), which is higher or the same as T-table, i.e. (3,4). (2) There is a significant correlation betwen teacher’s competence and student’s achievement, as shown by the result of the T-test, i.e. (3,7), which is higher than T-table, i.e. (3,4). (3) There is a signif There is a significant correlation betwen principal’s leadership attitude and teacher’s competence toward student’s achievement, as shown by the result of the Ftest, i.e. (9,5), which is higher than F-table, i.e. (3,1). All in all, this present study suggests the principal’s to keep and anhance the teacher’s competence to be professionals. Additionally, teacher’s competence should be improved to increase the student’s achievement.
