- The research was aimed to determine the response of shoot multiplication of teak (Tectona grandis Linn.) against various concentrations of BAP (Benzyl Amino Purine) and IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) in vitro. The research was designed in Completely Randomize Design (CRD) with two factors. The first factor is concentration of BAP (Benzyl Amino Purine) consists of 0 ppm; 0.25 ppm, 0.5 and 0.75 ppm. The second factor is concentration of IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) consists of 0 ppm; 0.5 ppm; 1 ppm and 1.5 ppm. The results showed that giving BAP concentration of 0.5 ppm is the best concentration to the number of shoots with highest number 6.42 shoots. Giving IBA concentration of 0 ppm is the best concentration for the time of shoots formation at average of 12.25 days after planting, plants height with average 1.68 cm, the number of shoots at average 8,67 shoots, number of leaves with average value of 11,22 sheets. Interaction between BAP and IBA significantly affect on plant height parameters in the combination treatment T3A0 (BAP 0,75 ppm + IBA 0 ppm) resulted in the highest increase of plant height with value of 1,91 cm.
