  • This research aims to obtain deep understanding of code mixing in the form of fragment of words and phrases, code switching in the form of clauses or sentences, and interference in the field of phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics which are conducted by teachers and students in learning Indonesian language in class V SD Negeri Lebak 1. This research was conducted in class V SD Negeri Lebak 1 sub district Ciomas, Serang Regency, Banten province with the research setting was classroom for the learning of Indonesian language. The method used is the phenomenology method. Techniques of data collection used are role passive observation, the documentation (seeing-noting and recording technique), and interviews. Technique of data analysis used is content analysis. From the results of this research, it has been found about the code mixing between some words and phrases, code switching of clauses and sentences shifts and the interference of phonology, morfhology, syntax and semantic in Sunda language with Banten in the learning of verbal Indonesian language in class V SD Negeri Lebak 1 that teacher and student. Code mixing and code switching are caused by several factors such as the lack of capability of Indonesian language vocabulary, to get more intimate or have close relationship between teachers and students, and to create senses of humor. Interference of Sunda language with Serang dialect is caused by the habit of the speaker when pronouncing the sound of Sunda language with Serang dialect and the lack of capability of Indonesian language vocabulary so that some terms of local language should be borrowed. These results explained that the imbalance of the capability of the first and second language of verbal communication in bilingual society lead to interplay when used so that it creates the phenomena of code mixing, code switching and interference.
