- The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the influence of the principal academic supervision of the quality of teachers' teaching Junior High School in District Cikupa Tangerang District; 2) the effect of teacher competence on the quality of teaching and teachers; 3) the influence of the academic supervision of school principals and teacher competence jointly on the quality of teachers' teaching Junior High School in District Cikupa Tangerang District. The method used is survey method with regresion analysis technique. Total sample set of 60. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The results showed: 1) There is the influence of the principal academic supervision of the quality of teachers' teaching Junior High School in District Cikupa. The effect is shown by the coefficient of determination of 36.8%. This means, the better the academic supervision of the school head, then it will be better the quality of teaching and teachers; 2) There is the influence of teacher competence on the quality of teachers' teaching Junior High School in District Cikupa. The effect is shown by the coefficient of determination of 41.2%. This means, the better the competence of teachers, it will be better the quality of teaching and teachers; 3) There is the influence of the academic supervision of school principals and teacher competence jointly on the quality of teachers' teaching Junior High School in District Cikupa. The effect is shown by the coefficient of determination of 45.6%. This means, the better the academic supervision of school principals and teacher competence, it will be better the quality of teaching and teachers.
