  • The objective of this research is to find out the influence of Two Stay-Two Stray Learning Model toward students‟ reading comprehension. This research was conducted at the eighth grade of SMPN 13 Kota Serang in academic year 2015/2016. The sample of this research was VIII B which consists of 39 students as the experimental group and VIII A consists of 38 students as the control group. The experimental group was taught by using Two Stay–Two Stray Learning Model and control group without Two Stay –Two Stray Learning Model. The researcher used quantitative research and the true experimental design as the research method. Technique for collecting the data was tests which consisted of pre-test and post-test. After calculated the data the researcher found that there was any significant influence of Two Stay–Two Stray Learning Model toward students‟ reading comprehension, indicated by the value of t-test was higher than the value of t-table (2.43 ≥ 2.00) at the level of significant of α 0.05 and degree of freedom is 67. It means that the hypothesis was accepted. From those findings, it can be concluded that there was any significant influence of Two Stay–Two Stray Learning Model toward students‟ reading comprehension at the eighth grade of SMPN 13 Kota Serang.
