- AS and learning interest of the students the ability to read the beginning. Outcomes learning impact, the research used another method in the study for comparison is with the lecture method. The study was conducted in SDN Citiis districts Padarincang Serang regency of Banten province by using research methods and design Factorial Experiments. The study population has class 1 of 60 people, with 30 people classroom experiments and 30 as the control class. Data collection techniques using instruments in the form of a questionnaire to determine the level of emotional intelligence of students and achievement test to determine the level of reading ability of students after learning starters. The instrument is calibrated by test validity and reliability coefficient. The results showed that there here differences in learning outcomes Early reading ability of students using SAS (A1) with the lecture method (A2) in the study with a mean (A1) 15.20 and the mean (A2) of 12.47. Early reading ability of learning outcomes of students who possess a high interest in learning higher learning outcomes than students who possess a low learning interest, either using SAS or lecture with a mean (B1) at 16.10 and the mean (B2) of 11.57. There is an interaction between the use of methods of SAS with student interest in the ability to read the beginning, as compared with the use of student interest turns the lecture method mean a lower learning outcomes. Based on these results imply that the use of methods of SAS and student interest influence on learning out comes Early reading ability in grade 1 SDN Citiis Padarincang District of Serang District.
