- It is based on research by low student learning outcomes of grade 5 on the subjects of IPS. The low student learning outcomes was caused by lack of variate the learning methods used by teachers, explanation material that is done by teachers have also been dull and lacking motivate students to study. This is shown with a value on pre the cycle of a lot of students who has not reached Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). So that this study focused on the increase in learning outcomes the student with use the model of learning cooperative type scramble. The purpose of this study which is to improve learning outcomes the student with use the model of learning cooperative type scramble. This study was conducted in SDN Mahendra 1, with the subject of study students grade 5 which totaled 26 people. Research methodology used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that was implemented in two breeding cycles. Data collection techniques used namely observation, test and documentation. Based on the results obtained from this study can be seen that learning outcomes students has experienced significant increases. On students cycle I work completed in as many as 17 students 26 with the percentage of students 65 %. In the cycle of work completed II students increased, namely 92%. This proved that the implementation of cooperative kind of classroom type scramble to improve student learning the result on the subjects of social class in the class V.
