- Foreign exchange reserves are the stock of foreign currency held that any time can be used for international transaction or payments. This study aimed to analyze the effect of interest rate, exchange rate, current account, capital and financial account partially and simultaneously to the foreign exchange reserve in Indonesia The methods of analysis used is regression analysis of ordinary least square (OLS) model with the help of Software Eviews 8.0. as for this study using quarterly data from Indonesian Bank. The result of this study indicate in the simultaneous different interest rate, exchange rate, current account, capital and financial account at significant level of 5% had a positive significant effect on foreign exchange reserve in Indonesia. The coefficient of determination (R 2 ) is found to be 0,976231. this shows that 97,62% in form of different interest rate, exchange rate, current account, capital and financial account were able to explain the dependent variable is the foreign exchange reserve in Indonesia 2008-2015.
