- This thesis aims to determine how the implementation of the wage policy laborers/workers in Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower. The government set a wage policy that protects workers/laborers. The government in setting involving workers/laborers through Union/Labour. Ideally the wage rate specified in the respective companies through negotiations between the worker/laborer with the leadership of the company. To be able to negotiate effectively, then the worker/laborer should be represented by the Trade Union/Labour Union, and on the role and function of SP KEP SPSI as labor organizations in the process of wages. The method used is the juridical normative and empirical jurisdiction. Data collection techniques used are literature studies and interviews with workers/unions. The setting of wages in the Act Ketenegakerjaan and the implementing regulations are still have some shortcomings, both of definition regarding wages, minimum wages, and a review of the minimum wage so that workers' organizations SP KEP SPSI is required to play an active role in realizing the wage that can provide sufficient protection for workers and their families, especially to the members who joined the SP KEP SPSI.
