- Israeli-Palestinian conflict starts from the beginning of the theological claims on Palestinian land that is considered the Jews as the promised land. The war in Gaza is the latest after the war of 2008-2009. victims who died in 2014 experienced the highest number since 1967. The role of the UN Security Council in the Charter (charter) is expected to resolve the long-running conflict between Israel-Palestine. Based on this background can be in identifying the problem of how the role of the UN Security Council in the armed conflict between Israel-Palestine based on the UN Charter and the form of sanctions should be given the UN Security Council against Israel under the provisions of the UN Charter. This study uses normative juridical research method, with the approach used in the writing of the writer uses the principles of law approach. The data used in this paper are the primary data and secondary data, primary legal materials, namely the UN Charter, UN Security Resolutions and the secondary and tertiary legal materials. this thesis uses data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, while data analysis the authors use the method of qualitative analysis. The UN Security Council's role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been carrying out the functions and authority in Chapter V, VI AND VII of the UN Charter. The role of the UN Security Council under Chapter V is to issue 362 resolution is issued and perform the formation of organs Subsidiary, the role of the Security Council under Chapter VI adalan by calling for Israel-Palestine did Negotiations and perform Roads negotiations and the role of the UN Security Council in Chapter VII of the UN Charter is the meyerukan to Israel and the Palestinians to a ceasefire.
