  • These study aims are to identity the internal and eksternal factors that become the strengths. Weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in hatchery catfish farming sangkuriang as well as define alternative strategies that can be applied in developing of business hatchery catfish farming PERANK (associations counternarcotics) this research type is descriptive qualitative. Case study method sampling techniques by observation. Analyses of the data used are IFE, EFE, IE and SWOT. their results of the reseach were known that strength : strategic production site, selling price of affordable cathfish seeds, costomer loyalty, the resulting product quality, age catfish farming is relativery short, able to survive with private capital. Weaknesses : lack of management accounting, production facilities are still modest, production is still small, less skilled employees, intensive employee. Opportunuties : feed management technology, wide market share, government support in the business empowerment, increasing enlargement catfish farming. patnerships, increasing people’s catfish. Threats : pests and deases, the reasing price of fish, climatic condition, competitor outside of regions, volafility catfish price. Alternative strategies can be use as market penetration, market development and product development. Market penetration is growth strategy where the bussines focuses on the seed sales of catfish preexisting. Market development is where the bussines of selling catfish seed product to make the biggest of catfish farmers. Product development use strategies used by employers to develop seed product catfish existing by improving the quality and diversification of product.
