  • PT. Lotte Chemical Titan Nusantara is a company engaged in the producing industry polytilene Polytilene types of High Density (HDPE) and Linear Low Density Polytilene (LLDPE) where there are several kinds of products such as HD4030AA, HD5002GA, HD5210AA, HD5401GA, LL0209AA, LL0209SR, LL0220AA, and LL0220SR . Laying the finished product is currently based only on the empty slot on the nearest warehouse and bagging machines and lines for material handling is too wide. This causes mileage material handling becomes more distant and require higher costs. Repair finished product warehouse layout is done by using the shared storage and designing simulation models for existing and proposed layout with ProModel software 2001. This study aims to determine the needs of the storage area required, determine the width of the alley necessary, designing the proposed improvement warehouse layout finished products to reduce mileage and material handling costs and designing the layout of the existing simulation model and layout proposals. From the results, for the needs of an area of 2,860 m2, aisle width of 3.80 m, and the distance to material handling to form the initial layout in the amount of 2,290,790.70 m and cost of Rp Rp. 25,113,938.44. While mileage material handling with the proposed layout of 357,705.10 m and costs Rp 1,933,085.60 and produces a decrease of 15.61%. The results of the layout design of the existing simulation models are 8 storage areas and distances corresponding existing condition spent 222.56 hours, the output of products 5011 units, the value of the initial utility forklift at 100% and 54.54%. In the existing layouts are 20 storage areas and have the results within a shared application storage, spent 161.57 hours, the output of products 5229 units, forklifts utility value of 100% and 85.27%.
