- PT Krakatau Wajatama is one of the manufacturing companies that produce steel, steel profiles one of them is the product IWF. 150, IWF. 250, U.150, and U.250. The raw materials used are Bloom. Type of flow in the process of making steel profile is flowshop with 6 machines. Consumer demand for the product IWF. 150, IWF. 250, U.150, and U.250 very high i.e. 70% as compared to the other types of products. The order of machining job done not using any method, so completion time for the entire job to be long in excess of 29 days or 696 hours,it is necessary to minimize the job completion time (makespan). Minimize makespan can quick the whole job completion time, so as to achieve the target of production and can increase the production capacity. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal job sequence in order for the minimum makespan is obtained with the method of Heuristic CDS, Pour, and Palmer and knowing the minimum makespan value resulting from the scheduling is done. Based on the data processing is done, the makespan for existing conditions was obtained by 755,55 hours, method of CDS by 666,24 hours, method of Heuristic Pour by 666,24 hours, and 865,43 hours of the Palmer method, then the obtained optimal method are CDS and Heuristic Pour method with the makespan 666,24 hours with and job sequence is 1-4-3-2 or level of the job sequence starting from the product IWF. 150, 250, then U then U. 150, and the last job that IWF 250.
