- Indonesian subjects in which there are material literature (poetry, prose, and drama), believed to be very important role in the effort to establish the character of students. Through learning patterns that more emphasis to be appreciative activities, ie activities to read and enjoy literature in earnest will have positive impact on students. Students are expected to sharpen their sensitivity and capable of absorbing the values contained in the literary work. This research is motivated by the fact that the moral and ethical values in the association have been many who no longer compatible with what is expected by educators. There is a very striking gap between the facts with expectations. The focus of this research is to analyze the value of moral and ethical values of the Doodle collection of short stories in Toilet paper Eka Kurniawan, as an alternative learning materials Indonesian language and literature in class 12 SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method of content analysis techniques (content analysis) models Philipp Mayring. Analysis of the six short story by Eka Kurniawan moral values obtained from the data 27, which consists of four moral values of justice, moral values honesty 9, 8 moral values of responsibility, and moral values of peace 6. As for the ethics of the data obtained 18 values of ethics, which consists of 10 ethical behavior, moral and ethical values 8. The conclusion of the research is the moral value of honesty is the key message to be conveyed to the readers. Moral ethical values associated with ethical behavior, when the person's moral ethics of both the ethical behavior is also good, and vice versa if the moral ethics ethical behavior is not good then also be unfavorable. The stories contained in the book collection of the Doodle in the toilet is very suitable to serve as an alternative learning materials Indonesian language and literature in class 12 SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang district. Recommendations from the research results of the Doodle collection of short stories in Eka Kurniawan Toilet paper is very suitable to serve as an alternative learning materials Indonesian language and literature in class 12 SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang district, because the results can be directly ditetrapkan in everyday life.
