- The growth of local budget in Banten Province from 2013 – 2014 indicated that there was a budgetary slack. This happened because there were a few factors that could influence budgetary slack. This study aims to find out the influence Task Uncertainty, Environmental Uncertainty, Budgetary Participation, Budgetary Control Effectiveness and Ethical Work Climate toward Budgetary Slack in Local Government of Banten Province. The object of research include Echelon II, III and echelon IV who participated in the preparation of Banten Province’s budget. The data analysis method used is multiple regression as the data processing tool. The result showed that Task Uncertainty, Environmental Uncertainty, Budgetary Participation are partially has significant positive impact toward Budgetary Slack and The Results testing of hypotheses suggests that Budgetary Control Effectiveness and Ethical Work Climate are partially has significant negative impact toward Budgetary Slack
