- This thesis entitled " Eksistensi Tokoh Utama Perempuan dalam Novel Merry Riana Mimpi Sejuta Dolar karya Alberthiene Endah(Analisis unsur Instrinsik dan Feminisme Eksistensialis sebagai bahan ajar di SMAN 6 Kab Tangerang)". This study aimed to obtain clear information, in-depth, comprehensive and structure of the novel and to describe the form of Existence Main Figures Women contained in the novel. The research method the authors use the qualitative methods and techniques used in this research is content analysis techniques (Content Analysis). The object of research in this novel is a novel form (literature work) which is then used as a corpus of research. This study is described using the theory of Beauvoir (via Tong, 2010) on women are supported by theory belongs to Sartre (through Suseno, 2006) about the existence of women and supported by theory - the theory of other supporters. Results of the study there were 59 data that has been analyzed on Merry Riana Mimpi Sejuta Dolar byAlberthiene Endah novel and it can be concluded that, Merry Riana managed to free himself from the economic difficulties experienced by families by way of realizing his dream is to graduate, then she is able to demonstrate its existence by how to be a Motivator. So it makes her capable of existence and recognition of the whole society.
