M.Hum. and Advisor II Dr. Dase Erwin Juansyah, M.Pd. the problems of this study are: 1) what are the code mixings in speech of Bugis Migrants in Karangantu Residence? 2) what are the code switchings in speech of Bugis Migrants in Karangantu Residence?. This study aims to describe the form of code mixings and code switchings in speech of Bugis Migrants in Karangantu Residence. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through recording and transcribing of Bugis Migrants speech who lived in Karangantu Residence. The technique used in this study was library research, recording, listening comprehensively, note taking and the continuous technique by switching technique. The result of data analysis showed that the phenomenon of Bugis Migrants speech in Karangantu Residence, Kasemen, Serang, Banten has mixed and switched. In this case, the code mixing was the blend of Bahasa Indonesia and Bugis Language in form of word, phrase, and repetition of word. In the other hand, the code switching was the switching of Bugis Language to Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Indonesia to Bugis Language in term of the switch of language code
