- Objects is one of main study of Natural Science (IPA) which has an important role in life, on this subject the student to understand how things have each character. This study aims to determine whether the approach of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) to increase affective learning outcomes of students in the subject matter. Because of problems in this study is the lack of attention to affective student learning outcomes in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) in the fourth grade Elementary School Sayabulu, Serang City. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, which is a Classroom Action Research. Action research consisted of two cycles. At each cycle will be taken includes four steps: plan of action, implementation, observation and reflection on the learning process in class on the subject of objects and nature. From the results of this study found that approach to Value Clarification Technique (VCT) to increase affective learning outcomes of students on the subject of objects and its fourth grade Elementary School Sayabulu, Serang City. This is evidenced by an increase in affective student learning outcomes were significant at each cycle, which of the four stages of the emergence of affective indicators: reception (receiving), responsiveness (responding), valuation (valuing), management (organization) in the first cycle is getting better category above the average of 70% only on valuation (valuing) with a percentage value of 71%, in the second cycle the results of the fourth stage of the emergence of affective indicators scored above average. Thus it is evident that the approach Value Clarification Technique (VCT) may improve outcomes affective learning of students in science subjects on fourth grade.
