- Farmers’ attitude in receiving any counseling program relies on the program given and also the performance of the agricultural extension that implementing the program. The aim of this is (1) identifying the characteristic of farmers in the working area of agricultural extension in Kebuyutan village, Sub-District Tirtayasa, District Serang, Province Banten (2) analyzing the performance of agricultural extension towards the farmers in Kebuyutan village, Sub-District Tirtayasa (3) analyzing the farmers’ attitude towards the agricultural extention’s performance in Kebuyutan village, Sub-Ditrict Tirtayasa. The data used in this research consist of the primary and secondary data. The data sampling was conducted by doing census chich taken from all members of two groups of farmers in Kebuyutan village. In the data analysis methd, this research uses descriptive method and uses scoring and T-test score as the instrument. The result of the data analysis about the extension’s performance as educator was rated “excellent” by 4 attributes and 2 attributed was rated “good enough”. As Leader, the extension’s performance overall was rated “good”. The extension’s perfomance as advisory was rated “excellent” by 3 attributes and 2 attributes rated “good enough”. The result of the T-test analysis of farmers’ attitude towards agricultural extension is ”positive” which was expressed by 52,7% or as much as 28 respondents and 47,3 % or as much as 25 respondents being “negative”.
