- The purpose of this paper is to determine the billing and record-keeping procedures for doubtful accounts of electricity bills. Method used is descriptive method. Writing this using primary data and secondary data obtained from PT PLN (Persero) Distribution West Java and Banten Banten Area North (Unit Serang City) Method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation collected from PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Java west and North Banten Banten Area (Unit Serang City) I obtained the results of research in the field is about billing procedures for doubtful accounts, recording procedures of the nascent receivables and accounting records for doubtful accounts at PT. PLN (Persero) and the factors that affect the incidence of doubtful accounts.
