  • The growth of MSME in Indonesia can’t be separated from its role as an alternative economic organizations which have been a sponsor of other economic sectors. MSME today has grown in every province in Indonesia with the contribution to employment, especially in rural area, equitable development, increasing people’s income and proverty reduction in the region and generate export commodities have an impact on regional economic growth and national economy. The growth of MSME in Indonesia can be influenced by macroeconomic variables of the exchange rate, inflation and interest rate. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the effect of macroeconomic variable that consists of the exchange rate, inflation and interest rates partially and simultaneosly to the growth of MSME in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression analysis of time series data in the period 1986 – 2015. Regression analysis showed that the inflation variables and interest rate that significanly influence the growth of MSME in Indonesia while the variable exchange rate had no significant effect on the growth of MSME in Indonesia with an error rate of 5 percent. Simultaneously, all the macroeconomics variables consisting of the exchange rate, inflation and interest rate have a significant effect on the growth of MSME in Indonesia with R 2 Equal to 0. 546097 or 54.60 percent while the rest influenced by other variables not included in the research model.
