  • Moringa leaves can be used as a feed ingredients based on it nutritional values. It has 27.1 g protein content, 2.3 g fat and 38.2 g of carbohydrates. The objective of the research was to determine the effect of Moringa leaves as a feed source to the blood profile and the growth rate of African catfish. The research used completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications, i.e moringa leaves without fermentation as a control (treatment A), Fermentation of moringa leaves using Rhizopus oligosporus (treatment B), Saccharomyces cerevisiae (treatment C) and Aspergillus niger (treatment D). The results showed that Moringa leaves can be used as a feed source for African catfish. Fermentation using Aspergillus niger (D) given the best result for the growth rate of African catfish (2.62±0.18%). The results showed treatment (D) was the best treatment that produced erythrocytes 1.63±0.41×10 6 3 cells/mm , leukocytes 1.42±0.04×10 5 3 cells/mm , haemogobin 6.5±0.68g%, haematocrit 26.04±3.09%, feed of consumption 404±6.02 g, feed efficiency 61.24±2.68% and survival rate 96.8±0.95%. It can be concluded that the moringa leaves flour fermented with fungi can be used as a raw material for feed because it did not affect the physiological processes of the fish body of African catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The value of all the blood profile parameters were within normal range. The administration of moringa leaves fermented using Aspergillus niger in the feed could raise the growth rate of African catfish
