- This research aims understanding: 1) The influence of teachers’ educational background on the teachers’ productivity at MTs Negeri Nguntoronadi. 2) The influence of work discipline on teachers’ productivity at MTs Negeri Nguntoronadi. 3) The influence of both teachers’ educational background and work discipline on teachers’ productivity at MTs Nguntoronadi. This research was a co-relational quantitative research. The population of this research were 32 teachers at MTs Negeri Nguntoronadi, district Wonogiri gathered by using census sampling population technique. The research method used in this research was survey method using parametric statistic analysis with prior test requirement included data normality, free variable independence, linearity and meaningful regression. The result of this research shows that: 1) There is significant influence between teachers’ educational background on their performance at MTs Negeri Nguntoronadi is showed with value thitung (3,249) ˃ ttabel (2,042), the total of effective contribution is 15,9% and the relative contribution is 84,1%. There is significant influence between work discipline and teachers’ productivity. It has contributed positive influence. The significant influence is showed value with thitung (7,260) ˃ ttabel (2,042), the total of effective contribution is 81,1%. 3) Meanwhile for both variable of educational background and work discipline, there is influence significant on teachers’ work productivity at MTs Negeri Nguntoronadi, it is showed with thitung (3,573) ˃ ttabel (2,042). The similar of regression equivalent is Y = 28,464 + 6,877X1 + 0,296X2. It shows that, if the variable of teachers’ educational background (X1) and work discipline (X2) have not influence, so the value of teachers’ work productivity (Y) is 28,464. If the score of teachers’ educational background (X1) is plus one point, so it will be influenced by the teachers’ educational background growing (Y), it is 6,877. And if the score of work discipline (X2) is plus one point, so it will be influenced by teachers’ work productivity (Y), it is 0,296.
