- Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of principal leadership management at MIM Gading 1 of North Klaten. This research used qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at MIM Gading 1 of 2013/2014. The subjects of this research were principal and teachers. Informants of this research were staffs, school committees and students. Technique of collecting data employed observation, interview, and document. Technique of data validity applied triangulation technique consisted of source and method. Technique of data analysis used interactive method consisting of data reduction, data collection, data display and conclusion. The result of this research shows that the implementation of leadership management at MIM Gading I of North Klaten has managed well. This includes; (a) Cooperative plan, (b) Organization by conducting coordination and assignment distribution based on main duty and function of each section, (c) Implementation based on plan which is made and conducted based on main duty and function of each section, (d) Monitoring the implementation of event, (e) Evaluation reached toward the implementation process of teaching and learning activity.
