- Key terms : Difficulties, English teaching, Bakat Istimewa Olahraga Class The aims of this research are to investigate: (1) difficulties faced by the teacher during English teaching activity in Bakat Istimewa Olahraga Class at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo; (2) the teacher‟s solution of problems in English teaching process in Bakat Istimewa Olahraga Class at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. This research was used descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on April, 25 2016 until May, 09 2016 in Bakat Istimewa Olahraga (BIO) Class at The Tenth Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo. Collecting the data are interview and observation. Trustworthiness of data use source triangulation. Analyzing the data in this research the researcher uses interactive model analysis of Miles and Huberman including data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. Teaching English in Bakat Istimewa Olahraga (BIO) Class was different with other classes. Teacher had difficulties of English teaching in Bakat Istimewa Olahraga (BIO) class. The results show: (1) difficulties faced by teacher included two factors, namely; internal factors (emotional factors and physiological factors, and teacher‟s concentration was break) and external factors (unavailability media, the lack of time available), (2) the teacher had solutions to reduce her difficulties during English teaching. The solution can reduce the teacher‟s difficulties during English teaching process ongoing.
