- ABSTRACT Scarcity of natural resources is a matter of science (knowledge) as a function of “time”, in a series of scarcity issues contained in the economy in Indonesia, Islamic banks would be able to solve the problem. Basing on a single conception, that: Syari’ah banking as a financial entity has a special purpose, which he (mudlarib) building owner’s trust funds (shahibul mall) to others/ community/ customers in a system, which will connect the mall Shahibul interests and customers with authority to establish agreements (dealing) with banking procedures. Efficiency as a financial ratio is a formula that is relatively important to show the amount that needs attention and is expected to lead to several factors that define the optimism of the large number of Muslims in Indonesia, which is a “captive market” that has not worked optimally. In another aspect can be used as a management tool that is expected to take decisions, as well as an early warning (early warning system) to the worst financial position. The study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of syari’ah banking indicators, such as: Asset, Capital Financing, Financing Investment, Financing Consumption and Non-Performing Financial Bank Syariah in Yogyakarta on the magnitude of Syari’ah Banking Efficiency Ratio BOPO in Bank Indonesia. Calculation and interpretation of data analysis conducted with the help of computer application program SPSS version 16.0, with some hypothesis testing techniques in a test of normality, the coefficient of determination R2, t-test and F-test. The conclusion can be drawn from the results of this study, are: the variable Asset, Investment and Financing of Non-Performing Financial (NPF) has a positive relationship and there is no significance to the efficiency ratio in BOPO Bank Indonesia. While on Capital Financing and Consumption there is a negative relationship, but also there is no significance to the efficiency ratio in BOPO Bank Indonesia. Overall there are no independent variables (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5) are the dominant influence on the dependent variable (Y), because all indicators show the significance of the numbers below 2, that is: Assets (1.319), Non-Performing Financial NPF (0.993), Investment Financing (0.409), Financing Consumption (-0.778) and Capital Financing (-0.803).
