- reinforcing The Islamic Lessons, 2) what efforts the headmaster does in reinforcing the Islamic Lessons and, 3) what obstacles the school has, and how to solve the problems. This research is a qualitative researh. The data obtained from observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis used is data presentation, data reduction and conclusion. The result of this research shows that : 1) the headmaster of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Jatinom Klaten has played an important role in reinforcing The Islamic Lessons as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator as well as a motivator. To commit this, the headmaster tends to be a transformative leadership 2) the efforts to reinforce The Islamic Lessons are in the forms of : a) an extra curricular b) Islamic Lessons Competence c) the methods of reinforcement. The obstacles faced in reinforcing The Islamic Lessons in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Jatinom Klaten is : 1) Some of the teachers come late 2) there is a perception that “Dhuha” Prayer must be done individually 3) The Islamic Lessons Laboratory is not available 4) Few students who have the ability of speech 5) the lack of “Tahfidz” teacher. The solution of the problem is : 1) the headmaster gives direction to the teachers to come on time 2) the headmaster informs that “Dhuha” Prayer is done to form the students’ habit 3) the headmaster proposes to get aid from The Religion Ministry and both the teachers and students collect fund through “Infaq” to build the laboratory 4) making a speech program in the extra curricular of ROHIS and hold a speech competition at the end of semester 5) the headmaster of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Jatinom plans to add a “Tahfidz” teacher.
