- Abstract The research aims at (1) knowing the academic supervision implementation of madrasah Supervisor in increasing the application of teacher innovation learning model at MTs Al Manar Tengaran, (2) knowing the academic supervision of madrasah supervisor in increasing the approach and technique of application at the teacher innovation learning model at MTs Al Manar, (3) and knowing the supporting and obstacle factors of academic supervision of madrasah supervisor in increasing the application of teacher innovation learning model at MTs Al Manar. The research used qualitative descriptive approach. The research was undertaken in MTs Al Manar Tengaran . The observation subjects were Madrasah Supervisor and MTs Al Manar teachers. The research informants were the madrasah headmaster, the madrasah section chief, the chairman of the working group supervisor. The data collection used observation, interview and documentation method. The data validity testing in this research used triangulation source and method. The data analysis used interactive analysis model that consist of three main thing; data reduction, presentation of data and conclusion making. The result of research shows that (1) the implementation academic supervision of madrasah supervisor in increasing the application of teacher innovation learning model at MTs Al Manar Tengaran has not yet maximally applied. In one semester, it conditionally happens at once. The academic visit intensity and frequency is smaller than managerial supervision that the supervision happens three times a year. The supervisor is more focus on the managerial supervision that emphasizes on the Madrasah administration mentoring in general. (2) The academic supervision of madrasah supervisor at MTs Al Manar approach and technique use direct approach by individual technique through the classroom visit and group through the teacher meeting and also ask the teacher to join the innovative learning application training model that is held by USAID. The supporting factor on academic supervision of madrasah supervisor in increasing innovative learning application model at MTs Al Manar such as: the teacher has high commitment to increase the competence, the supervisor has experienced for 17 years as a madrasah supervisor and also facilitator in the implementation of innovative learning model, the head of madrasah does academic supervision every month regularly and technical assistance from USAID in the implementation of innovative learning model. Inhibiting factors in academic supervision of madrasah supervisor are teacher lack of understanding about the innovative learning model, the supervisor has workload as a madrasah supervisor and also become a PAI supervisor that build 36 schools, the supervisors never give an example in the form of class teaching demonstration to the teacher about the implementation of innovative learning model and lack of educational facilities. The solutions in increasing the teacher competence in the implementation of innovative learning model are by doing to upgrade frequency and intensity supervision of academic supervisor, providing educational facilities adequate to support the implementation of teacher innovative learning model at MTs Al Manar Tengaran.
