  • This research was conducted to investigate the implementation of song lyrics to teach the students’ micro-skill of listening to fifth graders if MI Roudlotul Hidayah Bantrung 01. The subjects of this research are the fifth graders. The writer uses a classroom action research as a method in conducting this research. Based on the findings of the research, students listening skill improved after they were taught by using song lyrics. The result also shows that song lyrics can lead the students to a higher level of listening improvement. So, it can be concluded that song lyrics is appropriate media in teaching listening to young learners.
