AN ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ ENGLISH LEARNING STYLES IN ELEVENTH GRADE SOCIAL PROGRAM OF MAN 1 BAWU JEPARA IN ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2018/2019

- This thesis is entitled An Analysis of Students’ English Learning Styles in Eleventh Grade Social Program of MAN 1 Bawu Jepara in Academic Year of 2018/2019. The purpose of this research was to get data about students’ learning styles in the activities of English language learning. This research was held in August 2018 in MAN 1 Bawu Jepara. The method of this research was qualitative descriptive research. There was only one class was taken as subject of this research. There were three types of students’ learning styles that existed in the eleventh grade of social program 3 of MAN 1 Bawu Jepara in English language learning. The learning styles were visual learning style, auditory learning style, and kinesthetic learning style. The data showed that the highest percentage was visual learning style (53%), followed by auditory learning style (26%), and the lowest percentage was kinesthetic learning style (18%). It can be concluded that visual learning style was the dominant style in English language learning in in Eleventh Grade Social Program of MAN 1 Bawu Jepara in Academic Year of 2018/2019.
