  • The objectives of this study were to know the use and the implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) technique in teaching grammar. Not only that, but also the objectives of this study was, to know advantages and disadvantages of using the technique. The design of this research was descriptive study that had been conducted at Al-Mubarok Islamic Boarding School Bawu Batealit Jepara. The subject of this research were English tutor and the students of eighth grade B. This study got good result in which the researcher could discover the answer of the research objectives by doing observation, interview and documentation during teaching learning process in the class in implementing the Numbered Head Together technique. The result was that the Numbered Head Together technique was good to apply in teaching grammar. It was proved by some advantages that was gotten. The advantages were First, it could make the students of seventh grade B happy. Second, the advantage was, the Numbered Head Together technique made the students were active more. Third, the Numbered Head Together technique could make the students were competitive. Fourth, NHT technique could make students had good interaction and communication with others.
