  • This study aims at developing a model of training on school-based management in order to help principals to increase their competencies in the field of school-based management. Then, the product of this study is a standardized model of training that can be used for principals’ training, either solely or integrated with other trainings. ADDIE’s model (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate), which is developed by Reiser and Mollenda in1990, is used in this study. This study is divided into four phases (four years), namely 1) Analysis and Design, 2) Development, 3) Implementation, and 4) Evaluation. The study has been being in the third year phase. That is the implementation phase in which several phases have been done such as expert judgment in content and expert judgment in instructional media and design towards the developed products. The products are in the forms of learning material, model guide, and instructional media. The results of content expert judgment show that the products, namely learning material and model guide, are at good categories. The revision is not necessary to do for these products. While the instructional media, in the form of video, should be revised since it is in the moderate category. Then, the result of expert judgment in instructional media and design shows that learning material as one of the products is at moderate category so that it should be revised. While the model guide and the video as the instructional media are at good categories, therefore they should not be revised. However, suggestions from experts are taken into consideration for completing the products.
