  • Abstract Type of this research is the reserch unit of experiments aimed to determine: (i) whether there is influence on learning model toward mathematics learning outcomes, (ii) whether there are significant interest toward mathematics learning outcome, (iii) whether there is an interaction model with learning interest toward mathematics learning outcomes at class X SMAN 2 Masamba. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 2 Masamba North Luwu in the school year 2015/2016 as many as eight classes. Of the eight class were randomly selected two classes to be sampled. The reserch instrument used after being validated include observation sheets of learning completeness, student activity observation sheets, quistionaires of student interest and learning outcome test. Data was collected using quistionnaires, tests and observation sheet, and then analyzed by ANOVA. The result of this study indicated that (i) the results of mathematics learning outcomes of class X SMAN 2 Masamba has differences between who were taught using problem based learning models with who were taught using the co-operative model of jigsaw. Descriptively, these differences indicated that student who were taught using problem based learning model has an average value of learning mathematics than those taught using a model of cooperative learning type of jigsaw; (ii) the results of mathematics learning outcomes at class X SMAN 2 Masamba has differences between students who have high interest with lower interest whih. Descriptively, these differences indicated that students who have a strong interest in then mean score of the mathematics learning outcomes is higher than students who have low interest, (iii) the results of mathematics learning outcomes of the X graduate students at SMAN 2 Masamba influenced by the learning model interaction by the student’s interest.
