- Abstract: A steroidal compound, 3-O-B-glucopyranosyl-B-cytosterol is one of steroidal from chloroform fraction of root wood of Pterospermum subpeltatum C. B.Rob (Sterculiaceae). The structure of compound was determined based on IR, H, dan C-NMR spectra. This compound active against Artemia salina with the toxicity of LC50 160,93ug/mL and it also active as antifungal against Candida albicans with inhibition diameter 11,0 mm
